As insert of our commitment to continuous improvement, we’re pleased to announce that Sales Station will soon support the Star Micronics SM-L300 3-inch portable printer. As a result, any Sales Station tablet or smartphone—including those used for mobile/roaming sales—will be able to print barcoded tickets and receipts. As a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device, the SM-L300 doesn’t need to be paired with the Sales Station tablet or smartphone, and it won’t interfere with the operation of a traditional Bluetooth device like our supported scanners. Support for mobile printing offers greater flexibility anywhere on or off your site. For example, many of our customers use Sales Station on mobile devices for linebusting, deploying staff with iPhones and iPads to create pop-up ticket sales when lines are long. Lines move even faster when you print a ticket immediately without waiting for the visitor to enter a mobile phone number or email address!
