Join Ambassadors from around the state for this unique program. Over the course of eight online sessions every Monday, starting June 3rd through July 22nd, Ambassadors will dive into the Justice Journey covering such issues as environmental justice issues, their ecological footprint, the role of science in environmental issues, government and policy, goal setting, and more. This is an intensive program and girls will be responsible for completing pre- and post-work for each session. This is a fresh way to approach a tried and true Journey and will provide girls with additional skills and strategies for networking, time management and new technologies – all of which are tools needed for earning their Gold Award and in advancing their education. Participants will be mailed the Journey book, which will be critical in completing the Journey, and have access to a Google Classroom where digital copies of all necessary materials, group discussions and webinar recordings will be held. At the conclusion of the program, girls will be mailed their Sage Award and will be on their way to implementing their Take Action projects. This online session will run 8 consecutive weeks on Monday evenings: June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15 and July 22. *Important* Communication will be directly with the girl. When registering, please include the email address where the girl can be reached. School email addresses do not work with the Google Classroom platform: Gmail, Hotmail, Aol, Yahoo, etc.works best. Cancellation Policy
If we cancel: If the council needs to cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll do our best to reschedule. If you are not able to make the new date/time, you’ll receive a refund. If you cancel: If you need to cancel participants, we strongly advise finding replacements to take their place. You can make changes to your order online. For most events, if you cancel up to a month before the registration deadline, we’ll refund your fees. If you cancel 2-3 weeks before the deadline, you’ll receive a partial refund, which will vary depending on the type of event. A week before the deadline, no refunds will be given as arrangements have been made.
