It is with pleasure that we welcome you to Los Padres Council University of Scouting!  Scouting’s founder, Lord Baden-Powell believed that all leaders should be and needed to be trained.  This tradition is carried forward today.  The growth and success of the BSA movement is a direct result of that tradition and belief. Scouting has a proud history and we know an even greater future lies ahead.  We  hope you will continue on your personal Journey to Excellence through attendance at the University of Scouting!

The classes are designed to help you meet the required training for your Scouting position AND improve your skills and increase your knowledge of the Scouting program. We have organized a single day packed with a year’s worth of FUN, program ideas, and information – the largest single training event of the year in Los Padres Council.

Please click HERE to download the 2018 course catalog to see the training opportunities available during this once a year event.

It also offers an informal Scouting "Degree" Program, through which you can earn the Associates thru Doctorate Degree if you choose to do so, or you can just come and participate in the fun and fellowship!
