Editor's Note: In today's Friday News, we wanted to point out three applications (included in everyone's subscription) that you may not use frequently. They are all listed under the Feature List. These applications may help co-workers in other departments who may not be aware of all the tools that are available to them. Feel free to forward this note to others who might benefit. 

Surveys

You can create online surveys to gather feedback from your constituents using our Forms & Surveys application. The surveys can contain any number of questions with drop-down, check box and/or radio button answer sets, as well as free format text fields. Responses to questions can branch off to other questions depending on the answer. Results can be exported to a spreadsheet for analysis.

Newsroom

You can create your own news items or link to external news using the Newsroom application. These items can be posted to your website along with a link so that your constituents can can subscribe to your news feeds just as they subscribe to other information on the web via RSS. It's a great supplement to broadcast emails and gives your constituents choices on how they receive information from you.

Document Library

The document library can contain reference material and other documents that can be accessed over the web. More importantly, these documents can be private so that only those member of your organization with a profile can access them. Board of Director meeting minutes is an example of the type of documents that you might want to make available on your website, with security so that only those with access rights can see.
