Cub Scout Rangemaster Training

Spook-o-Ree

Classroom portion - Friday night 9:00 pm

Practical Training - Saturday 9-12 and 2-5

Join us on any of the Friday evenings during Spook-o-Ree for Cub Scout Rangemaster training.  The class will begin at 9:00 pm and you have the opportunity to get your practical portion of the class done the following day by assisting on the Archery and BB ranges during Spook-o-Ree!  The times on Saturday are 9-12 and 2-5.  You will work one session on the BB range and one session on the Archery range.

After you have completed your training, you are eligible to bring your Pack to Camp Thunder for a shooting weekend or day without having to pay the instructor fee.  This will greatly reduce the price of your events and hopefully allow more of your Scouts to participate!  We also will hope that you would be willing to help out occasionally at future Cub events like Spook-o-Ree which are all volunteer staffed.

A copy of the National Shooting Sports Manual can be found here or you can purchase a black and white printed copy when you register for $5.  The class itself is done free of charge.  This manual is over 125 pages so please judge accordingly on self printing.
