Annual Business Meeting

District Annual Business Meeting

Each year Boy Scout districts across the country begin the process of nominating a core group of leaders from their communities to represent the local Districts for the upcoming year. Through the nominating process, our Districts will fill the leadership roles needed to serve the youth of their service area. Each District will host an Annual Business Meeting where all nominated leaders will be voted in. We would like to invite you to our Annual Business Meeting. Charter Organization Representatives and previous District Committee members are the voting members of the District.

Leader Training News

If you have not heard the training buzz lately, the Cherokee Area Council is offering a training incentive for Cub Scout packs. If Cub Scout packs achieve 60% trained direct contact leadership, with a minimum of 5 leaders, the units will receive a $40 Scout Shop credit. A direct contact leader refers to Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders and Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters. Don't miss out on having some, or all, of your advancements covered at your next Pack Meeting.
