Don't miss your chance to be a fully trained leader!
What is a Fully trained leader? A direct contact Scout leader is considered
fully trained and entitled to wear the Trained leader emblem when he or she has completed Fast Start, Youth Protection, and This is Scouting trainings, which are online, and Position Specific Training for the leader's position.
Boy Scout and Varsity Scout Leaders also must complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training to be considered fully trained. The Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills is being conducted by the Los Padres Council on November 14 and 15 at Camp French. TIME: 8:30am Registration, 9:00am Opening, 3:00pm Closing
PLACE: Atascadero LDS Church, 2600 Ramona Road. Exit At Del Rio Road.
WHAT: Cub Scout Leader Specific Training & Boy Scout Leader Specific Training
COST: $10.00. Materials and "Trained" patch included.
Please bring your own sack lunch.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Any and all adults who need training as a Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leader, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, and any other adults in a Pack or Troop who would like to learn more about Scouting.
PRIOR TO THE TRAINING DAY: Please complete the on-line Youth Protection (must complete every 2 year), Fast Start for your position, and This is Scouting, all available at http://olc.scouting.org. After completing these trainings, please plan to attend the outdoor training component which is scheduled for November 13-15, 2009 at Camp French.
