All Packs and their families are invited to join us for the Flint River Council's Annual Spook-O-Ree. Our program will be relaxed, but sure to be a fun filled weekend! Some of the events planned for this weekend will be a Pumpkin Carving for Bears & Webelos, Pumpkin painting & decorating for Tigers & Wolfs , cookie grab, haunted trails for both the young and the older boys, there will also be a campfire. So bring your costume and be ready for a fun filled scary weekend at Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base.
Note: T-Shirts can be purchased prior to the event at a reduced cost. If you would like a 2009 Spook-O-Ree T-Shirt you can purchase one when making your reservation or call us at 770-227-4556 & let us know. T-shirts will be available at the event to purchase at full price while supplies last.

When: October 17-18, 2009 (free camping Friday night 10/16)
Who: Cub Scout Packs and their families
Program Features: Pumpkin Carving for Bears & Webelos, Pumpkin painting & decorating for Tigers & Wolves and any siblings, cookie grab, haunted trails (the Haunted Trail for Cub Scouts and the Tiger Trail for the Tiger Cubs) for both the young and the older boys, and a great campfire program! All Cubs and siblings can take part in the costume contest. Only pumpkins provided by the camp will be judged in the pumpkin carving contest and the pumpkin decorating contest. There will also be awards given for the Pack Recycling contest.
Items to Bring: A tent, food for the weekend, hand tools for planting grass seed for the Cub Conservation Project and your costume.
