| The Silver Beaver Award is the highest award our council can bestow upon a volunteer for their years of dedicated and selfless service to our youth. Since 1932, 936 Silver Beaver Awards have been awarded between the Three Harbors Council and the two legacy councils. A total of 13 Silver Fawns have been awarded by the legacy Milwaukee County Council and the legacy Southeastern Wisconsin Council. The Silver Fawn was given to women for their service in Scouting and was later changed so both men and women are awarded the Silver Beaver. Any Scouter may nominate another Scouter for the Silver Beaver Award. If you nominated a Scouter last year and they were not selected for the Silver Beaver, you can re-nominate them for 203. The application deadline is Friday, November 15, 2013. Please note that this year’s application deadline has been moved up from previous years. The council recognition dinner will be held next spring with the location and date to be determined. Keep watching the website at www.ThreeHarborsScouting.org for further details and updates.
