Matt has been active in other areas of the community, serving as President of the Rancho Cucamonga Sunrize Rotary Club from 2009-2011 and a member of the Congressional Youth Volunteer Awards board for Congressman David Dreier.

Matt attended Cal Poly Pomona for Computer Information Systems, and works with his siblings in the family business, Shelton’s Poultry, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations.

Tribe of Wisumahi - July 29 - August 4

Native American lore and culture abounds in this fun and exciting program for second-year Webelos Scouts at the Boseker Scout Reservation in Idyllwild. Scouts will learn to make special themed crafts plus have fun swimming, fishing, shooting arrows and BB's. Scouts will also begin their journey into Boy Scouts by learning and practicing leadership, while sleeping in teepees! The program is limited to 48 Webelos so sign-up today with a $50 deposit! Please note the change in leadership requirements for council-sponsored resident camp programs: Webelos attending individually must be accompanied by their parent or a parent-approved adult. Voice of the Scout

WHO WILL BE SURVEYED?

  • Scouts & Venturers
  • Parents
  • Volunteers
  • Chartered Organization Representatives

HOW & WHEN WILL THE SURVEYS BE DISTRIBUTED?
Beginning in March 2012, surveys will be sent to the active email addresses of registered members and leaders for councils that have opted in to participate. No more than once every six months will be sent for each person. Due to the millions of people we are collecting information from, we apologize that we cannot receive paper surveys for this program.

IS MY OPINION ANONYMOUS?
Yes, your opinion will be anonymous. Your membership record will only be used for categorizing your response to the right district, council, area or region. However, if you would like for someone to contact you, you can leave your name and contact information in the open ended question that will be in the survey.

I’M A PARENT OF A SCOUT UNDER 14, DO I ANSWER FOR HIM?
Questions for parents of Scouts under 14 will be directed to you to help us determine the value  of Scouting for your son. We encourage conversation with all Scouts, but require the direct involvement of the parent to do so for kids under 14.

WHY SHOULD I TAKE THIS SURVEY?
Your feedback is a critical component of assessing the level of value we provide to youth. Your experiences will validate the experiences our members, parents and volunteers are having so we can make the decisions that will help make every unit a great unit.
