Webelos Jam O Ree: THIS WEEKEND!
Webelos scouts are invited to attend the upcoming Webelos Jam O Ree at Menomonee County Park. The dates are Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, 2010.  Full details can be found here.

Jim Kieso will be awarded with the 100th Anniversary National Hall of Leadership Award at the opening ceremony this Saturday Morning at the Webelos Jam O Ree at Menomonee County Park.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to recognize all that Jim has done for Scouting and youth in our communities!

The Council has one crew reserved for Philmont in 2011.  Sign up today!  The early deadline is in September.

Calling anyone interesting in joining the Camp Long Lake Cook List:
This is a mandatory training for everyone interested in become a head cook. 9:00 Am. until around 1:30pm October 30th, 2010 at Camp Long Lake . We will have two classifications of cooks.  1. Small Group 1-74 participants (Staff Training, Pine Tree, Oak Leaf, Wood Badge). 2. Large groups 75 plus participants (OA Conferences, Family Camp, camp large rentals). Save the Date! Potawatomi Area Council’s Scout Ski Day!
Scout Ski Days will be held at Sunburst again this year and will feature ski, snowboard and tubing fun for all!
Date: Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Time: Registration 10:30 am to noon; ski from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Sunburst Ski Area, 8355 Prospect Dr., Kewaskum, WI
