We believe in keeping the outing in scouting. We have an active outdoor program and try to get out in the woods at least once each month. We participate in camporees, winter and summer camps and a variety of other activities throughout the year including service projects.  In addition we support the community and provide an opportunity for the boys to grow and earn camp funds. 

The troop works hard at being boy-run as Baden-Powell envisioned it. We train our youth leaders to plan, develop and execute their own troop program with minimal interference from the adult leaders of the troop.  We believe strongly in teaching and using the patrol method within the troop.
