The Deseret Peak District is one of 19 Districts in the Great Salt Lake Council. The Deseret Peak District covers all 6,900 sq miles of Tooele County, Utah and serves the needs of over 3,500 youth in approx 310 units.

Hours vary, please call 882-4613 to make sure Geraldine is "open for business".
Things you can do at the Tooele Scout Shop:
* Register Boys and Adults
* Turn in advancement sheets and purchase award badges
* Purchase a wide variety of Scouting literature
* Purchase some uniform parts
* Order anything for pick up later.

Fall Camporee - If you liked the Klondike, if you found the Spring Camporee just plain awesome, then do not miss Fall Camporee this year. More exciting events, more contests, and the TRADING POST will be back (by popular demand). Come to Round Table to get updated information. Info Pack & Registration Form HERE.

Varsity Scout Turkey Shoot - The night shoot games were so popular last year they will be back again this year. Please consider this age appropriate event for your older scouts. Come to Round Table (Huddle) for more information.

SPECIAL NEEDS UNIT

Click HERE to find information on Troop 1109 (the special needs unit chartered in Tooele County).  Boys, parents and Ecclesiastical leaders can decide if the boy's needs are best met in the home unit, the special needs unit or a combination of both. There is no upper age limit for participants.

DISTRICT TRAINING EVENTS:

Leader Specific Training -- September 25th, 2014 -- Valley View Stake.  For all Adult Leaders with any kind of job in scouting. If you have not yet been through the "Leader Specific" training for the position you currently hold, please plan on attending this event. Information HERE.

Cub Scout Leader Outdoor (OWL) -- October 11th, 2014 -- Tooele Wigwam. All Webelos Den leaders should attend this training before conducting Webelos overnight camping with the boys and parents of the den. In addition to covering basic camping skills, this training features planning campouts and finding resources. Information HERE.

Youth Protection Training -- Remember... "Youth Protection Training" is a requirement BEFORE an adult can register in any position.  It is taught Nov - Jan (Re-chartering time), during Round Table.  Youth Protection Training is also available online at http://www.scouting.org
