District Happenings Check out the "District Web Resources" below to view our calendar further into the future.  Explore a little, this page allows you to view the calendar in several different formats and print it out for use away from your computer!  Pinewood Derby Championships The annual Sleeping Giant District Pinewood Derby Championships are coming soon. This exciting event will be held on April 25 (note the date change to allow for participation in the Pacific Science Center Sleep-in on the previous date) The Derby is open to the top 5 competitors from each Cub Scout Pack in the Sleeping Giant District as determined by that Pack's leadership. Cubmasters may register their Pack's competitors by sending an email to either Sean or Brandon with each boy's name and rank. All registrations must be made by April 22. The cost of this event is $8.00 per competitor which will cover the cost of a medal for each participant and trophies for the top winners. Cub Sporting Event Formerly known for the Mountain Range West of Tacoma! All Cub Scouts are encouraged to attend this Annual Cub Scout Sporting Event. This event is designed to challenge each Cub Scouts athletic prowess to find the strongest, fastest, and most skilled Cub Scouts in the Sleeping Giant district. The event is going to be held on May 30, 2009 at Bethel High School. Check out the flyer in our library. University of Scouting November 21st 2009 - Mark your Calendar and watch for more info. Look in Library for the flyer ! Popcorn If you missed this Fall's popcorn sale, its not too late to make some money.
