The Broken Arrow District Nominating Committee has been formed to fill important key positions on the District Committee for 2010. The District Committee is lead by a District Chairman, currently Alan White. The committees that make up the District Committee include: membership, finance, camp promotion, activities, training, advancement and recognition. If you would be interested in serving on one of these district functions or know someone who would like to serve, please let us know. Scouting experience is not necessary to serve on the District
Committee.
The Broken Arrow District nominating committee is currently meeting to consider nominations and recommendations for district Members at Large and district Officers for approval at the District Annual Meeting. If you would like to
nominate an individual to serve as a member of the district for 2010 please
contact any member of the nomination committee or send your recommendation to Richard Sinton at rsinton@comcast.net by January 27, 2010.
Nominating Committee members are Robin Caiazzo, Richard Sinton and Joseph Torlucci. Committee advisor is Joel Lieberman, Senior District Executive. The Broken Arrow District Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the First Congregational Church of Verona, 19 Church Street, Verona, NJ at 7:30 PM. At this meeting, the 2010 district Members at Large and Officers will be approved by the voting members of the district. The voting members of the district are the 2009 District Members at Large, District Officers, NNJC Board Members residing within the district, and Chartered Organization Representatives for those units within the District.
