Starting May 1st, the Tacoma Scout Shop is having a Buy-One-Get-One Free sale on all of our old style Boy Scout and leader uniform parts. This includes tan shirts in youth, men's and women's styles along with nylon Switchback pants, socks, belts and more! The sale will continue while supplies last. New Districts!
In July, the council's executive board voeted to reorganize the council's service areas into 6 geographical and one special programs district. The new districts are approximately defined as follows:

Coastal Water District - Serving Pacific and Gray's Harbor Counties. Served by Blake Stinner - District Executive

Capital Area District - Serving Thurston County and the southern part of Mason County. Served by Frank Moser - Director

Mt Tahoma District - Serving Puyallup, Sumner, Orting, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Wilkeson, Carbonado, Enumclaw and Black Diamond. Served by Brandon Vavra - District Executive

Glacier View District - Serving Lakewood, Steilacoom, Parkland, Spanaway, Graham, Roy and Eatonville. Served by Sean Magnuson - Director

Puget Sound District - Serving Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Federal Way, Fife and Milton. Served by Rick Bugos - District Executive

Cub Scout Packs 23 & 59
3 Collects& 7700 bs& of Food
The Scouts from Grays Harbor held a food drive in
Aberdeen and Hoquiam where they filled the previously bare shelves at the Hoquiam Food Bank.
Troop 692 of Summit had the opportunity to volunteer some time at Cape Disappointment. with Ranger Davis of Washington State Parks, they cleaned up and painted old bunkers a North Head in order to make the bunkers more accessible to the public.
