Lodge By-Changes announced:
Attention All Takoda Lodge Members,
We, the Lodge Executive Committee, have decided to amend our Lodge By-Laws. The purpose of these changes is to alleviate the burden of numerous committees the Vice Chief must be in contact with throughout the year. The committee decided to make two Vice Chiefs, a Vice Chief of Membership and a Vice Chief of Events. This gives arrowmen more opportunity to be a Lodge Officer and gain leadership experience and a broader range of potential candidates for the position of Lodge Chief the following year. Other modifications are small but needed such as correcting the number of chapters currently in the council and adding the Fundraising Committee, an appointed committee this year. If you would like to read these changes before you as a Lodge votes on this at Fall Conference, click the link to download the document. Thank you for your dedication to the Order of the Arrow and our Lodge.
Sincerely,
Matt Kaney
Lodge Chief 2008-2009
