The DuBois Chapter prides itself on its friendly and efficient work. We welcome all who want to contribute to the community and support their neighbors when needed the most. We believe that everyone has a talent they can share, tell us yours and find out what a difference you may make in someone's life.
Since most of our work is done by volunteers, you will never find a better group of people to work with. Who could be nicer than people who give of themselves freely to help?
The office has a full-time person and one part-time person staff. They are the paperwork people who provide the backbone for all the other work to be done. The rest depends on you - the community.
More than 90 percent of Red Cross work is done by volunteers. And it should be. That is our mission. And that is how we keep costs down.
We depend upon donations to exisit and this community's generousity has continued to be unwavering. The support of the DuBois chapter by numerous individuals and the area's businesses, allows us to provide those services most needed when we are called upon.
We take our job of being stewards very seriously. So what we do is a reflection of you - the DuBois area. We hope you like what you see.
