Managing Camp Registration Dates for Programs with Multiple Sessions

Nonprofits Generate Income & Delight Constituents with Gift Cards

Although you might not automatically associate gift cards with nonprofits, gift card programs can open new avenues to generate income, retain the loyalty of current supporters and recruit new people (even hard-to-reach millennials) to your programs and mission.

Americans love gift cards: sales are growing 5-6 percent annually and are projected to reach $160 billion by 2018. They're easy for gift-givers to purchase and easy for recipients to spend on something they want. And, gift cards can help your organization generate even more revenue than the initial purchase—more than 70 percent of gift card recipients spend more than the face value of their card!

Doubleknot's TenderCard gift cards can be customized for your brand and messaging, and can be issued in any amount.

Doubleknot TenderCard gift cards are completely customizable

Doubleknot clients who offer TenderCard™ gift cards provide their supporters with the most flexible gift-giving option. Recipients can apply the gift card balance to any online purchase on your web site and any in-person purchase at Sales Station. And, TenderCard’s customization options deliver your branding and messaging directly to the public, including recipients who aren’t already supporters.

Here are just a few ways that our innovative nonprofit clients are using gift cards to recruit, retain and reward constituents:

  • Participation and achievement awards for fundraisers
  • Simplifying purchases at camp stores
  • Promotional gifts and rewards
  • Volunteer and staff recognition

It’s easy to start offering gift cards through Doubleknot! For more information and to get started, email us at Doubleknot@doubleknot.com or call Lanola Puta at (408) 971-9120 x214.

Managing Camp Registration Dates for Programs with Multiple Sessions

When you’re setting up a summer camp program with multiple session events (classes and activities) in every session, Doubleknot’s features to control registration dates for all session events make it easier to ensure that all of the registration dates are set correctly. You can set the registration dates and times for all session events in a single session, or for all session events in the entire program.

The following options are available on the Manage a Program Page:

  • Sync Session Event Registration Dates. Changes the registration dates and times for every session event to be the same as the registration dates and times for the session that contains it. For example, if you use this feature, all session events in Session #1 will have the same registration dates and times that you set for Session #1, and all session events in Session #2 will have the same registration dates and times that you set for Session #2.
  • Set All Session Event Registration Dates. Allows you to assign the same registration dates and times to every session event in every session of the program. If you use this feature, all session events in the program will have the same registration dates and times.

On the Manage a Session page, the Set Session Event Registration Dates feature changes the registration dates and times for all of the session events in the selected session to the dates and times that you choose.
