Virginia Numismatic Association Hosts Workshop September 24-25

The Virginia Numismatic Association will be hosting Coin Collecting merit badge workshops this weekend as part of their annual convention, to be held at the Fredericksburg Expo Center, http://fredericksburgexpocenter.com/directions/index.asp.   Information on the Coin Collection MB workshop times are at http://www.vnaonline.org/vnaannualconvention/youthprograms.html.  There should be more to see and do at this year's convention since it is being held much closer to Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and therefore should draw a greater number of exhibitors.

Coin Collecting MB requirements can be reviewed at http://usscouts.org/usscouts/mb/mb035.asp.   I recommend that you review the MB pamphlet in preparation for the workshop since some requirements require a general knowledge of coin collecting, if you hope to complete all of the requirements at the workshop. 

Scouts should come in their class A uniform and bring a blue card.  All VNA Youth Program instructors are certified MB counselors with the Heart of Virginia Council.
