University of Scouting

The University of Scouting is an annual get-together of Scouting leaders from across the Last Frontier Council. It is a training conference that takes place in a festive atmosphere.

The University of Scouting is a "convention" for Scouting leaders—the Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, or Crew Advisor should take all leaders to this learning extravaganza. There are sections on games, crafts, skits and puppets, ceremonies, outdoor skills, advancement, administration, Webelos dens and the Patrol method. It's a time for parents and all experienced, new, and prospective leaders to share ideas and see what the other units are doing.

All leaders are encouraged to attend this exciting, fun-filled, and informative training session every year. The Last Frontier Council's University of Scouting is held annually on the first Saturday in November.

Next Course date: November 1, 2014
