Required Training for Adult Leaders

YOUTH PROTECTION
Starting January 1, 2009, Youth Protection training will be required every 2 years. This training is available online at the Council Website through the MyScouting link (See news item on MyScouting). Membership ID numbers are required to do these trainings, so that records will be sent directly to the Council office. No record will be sent unless this id is entered BEFORE the training is done. Youth Protection training is required on Tour Permits and is part of being fully trained as a leader.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER
Starting January 1, 2009, Hazardous Weather training will be required for all tour permit activities. This training is available online at the Council Website through MyScouting. Membership ID numbers are required to do these trainings, so that records will be sent directly to the Council office. No record will be sent unless this id is entered BEFORE the training is done
