Treasure Island Scout Reservation

Treasure Island is the oldest existing Boy Scout resident camp in America, as well as the birthplace of the Order of the Arrow. Treasure Island offers a complete program for Scouts and their troops. Among the many activities offered are mountain biking, climbing walls, C.O.P.E Course (Ropes course), archery, rifle, shotgun, and musket shooting, fishing, hiking, handicrafts and Scout skills areas where advancement through the ranks is fun, as well as educational.  The swimming pool is a popular site for all campers. Canoeing, rowing, and kayaking are taught and enjoyed on the Delaware River. High Adventure programs for older, more seasoned Scouts are offered in the Boot ‘n Paddle and Mountain Man programs. Hearty, well-balanced, delicious meals are served in the camp dining hall daily. Boys live in two-man tents with wooden platform flooring and cots. For fees and more information click on the Treasure Island link, or call Camping Services at 610-688-6900.
