| Centennial Fund ~ Gifts given in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of Scouting. Your contribution of $1,000 and up will be used to support Scouting in south central Massachusetts and continue the tradition of leadership, honor, and service. For gifts received to the Centennial Fund by December 31, 2009, the donor will also be recognized:  Friends of Scouting ~ Your gift of any amount will be used to support the operational expenses associated with providing a quality program to our scouts. Your contribution will be invested in adult leadership training, the expenses to maintain the Scout service center, and will support the cost to maintain Treasure Valley Scout Reservation. All donors will be recognized: For a gift of $211.00 and up, you will also receive recognition:  Urban Scouting Program ~ Your donation will support the Urban Scouting Program for low income youngsters who are considered at-risk. This program recruits youngsters so that they may reap the benefits of the Scouting program while learning critical life skills. The Urban Scouting Program is provided in collaboration with non-profit organizations that offer a safe haven for unit meetings. The Mohegan Council provides paraprofessional leadership to ensure stability of the unit, uniforms and equipment to scouts, and campership assistance so the scout unit can attend summer camp. All donors will be recognized: Treasure Valley Fund ~ Your contribution will be restricted for investment in maintaining and improving the summer camp facilities. From coping with natural changes in the environment, to repairs to buildings, and the annual need for repairs to or new equipment, your gift will ensure that Treasure Valley remains the asset it is for of the scouts of the Mohegan Council. Bu Buy a Brick Campaign ~ For a limited time and for a contribution of $100.00 you can purchase a commemorative brick that will be used in the constuction of the entryway patio to the Magee Welcome Center. Capital Fund ~ A donation to the capital fund will be used to improve the capacity of the Mohegan Council to provide a quality Scout program. Donations may include in-kind gifts of office equipment, funding for the purchase of specific materials, or a gift restricted toward the maintenance of the service center located at 19 Harvard Street, Worcester. in the Mohegan Council's annual report. Summer Camperships / Support a Scout Fund ~ Contributions will be used to benefit individual scouts who demonstrate financial need. Your gift can provide a week of summer camp, purchase a uniform or equipment, or support a special activity that the scout would not be able to participate in with out financial assistance. All donors will be recognized:  Give your Gift in Tribute ~ You may send your contribution in any amount to honor someone on a special occasion or in memory of someone deceased. Special acknowledgements are sent to the donor and the recipient or their family. -
Memorial & Tribute donors are acknowledged in the Mohegan Council newsletter, The Moccasin (donation amounts are kept confidential.)   Endowment Fund ~ Your contribution will be restricted to continue the legacy of Scouting for future generations. Either through an outright gift of cash*, appreciated stocks, or a planned gift, you may designate your donation to ensure the perpetuation of the program. Anyone who acknowledges that they have made a planned gift through their will to the Mohegan Council, BSA (do not need to divulge the details of the gift) will be recognized: -

Special Donor Groups  Treasure Valley Alumni Association ~ Members foster a continued sense of community among campers, adult leaders, staff and their families and supports the quality of the camping experience while promoting and teaching the traditions and heritage of Treasure Valley Scout Reservation. Eligibility ~ Any person, regardless of age, who has camped for at least one night at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation and is eligible for membership in the Boy Scouts of America is eligible to be a member of the Association.
