VOLUNTEER SERVICE GRANTS

Many companies now have programs that recognize the volunteer service that their employees provide to Scouting and their community.  In honor of their efforts, grants can be made to the local Council.  Some of these grants are sizeable and will be used to further Scout programs, services, scholarships and camps.

UNUM VOLUNTEER SERVICE MATCHING GRANTS
UnumProvident will match $1 for each hour (a minimum of 50 hours up to 500 hours) that an employee volunteers as a Scout leader or parent helper.  Unum also matches charitable gifts from its associates.
Volunteer service forms may be submitted anytime prior to November 30 and a check will be mailed to support Scouting in December.
The deadline for matching gift contribution forms to be submitted is December 11, 2009.
