Boy Scout Summer Camp

About Camp Marin Sierra

The 320 acres of Camp Marin Sierra is part of the Tahoe National Forest at an elevation of approximately 5,500 feet. Chubb Lake provides the camp with virtually all the aquatic programs Scouting has to offer except motor boating and waterskiing. A notable point about Chubb Lake is that it is approximately 30 feet deep in the middle and therefore one of the warmest lakes in the Sierras. The camp has 13 troop campsites of various sizes with tent platforms and centrally located but shared outhouses, running water, and wood-burning/boiler showers.
