Decorate your den’s site Cub Scouts & Webelos can attend individually or with their den or pack. Each day camp session is limited to 300 participants. New this year will be our day session 8, which will be held during the morning/afternoon hours. Session 9 will be our COED camp, where brothers and sisters of Cub age may attend. See below for details. Cost: $75.00 registration completed before May 15th- which includes t-shirt, hat, and program supplies $90.00 registration completed after May 15th Free-Adults and Den Chiefs Times: Twilight Sessions 2:00pm - Arrival 3:00pm - Program beings 9:30pm - Program ends Day Session 8 7:00am - Arrival 8:00am - Program begins 2:30pm - Program ends  REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS Registration is available online from this website. Click on the session date below to begin the registration process. Please read the instructions on the event registration page before you begin so that you can gather the necessary information. Payment Requirements - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Payment can be made online at time of registration using a credit/debit card, PayPal account, or electronic check. Choose the Pay by Mail option if you wish to pay using your custodial unit account or mailed check. Payments not received within 10 business days of the registration date will be cancelled. To access the custodial account, the mailed in statement must include written authorization from a qualified account holder to access the unit's funds. Required Medical Form Parts A and C of the Annual Health & Medical form is required from all participants (Scouts, den chiefs, adult leaders and parents.) Please have all participants complete the form, print it and sign it. The medical forms must be received the first day in order to participate (Do not mail medical forms, bring them to camp on the first day of your session or to leader orientation). Click on the link below to access the form: Cub Scout Day Camp Annual Health History & Medical Form Den Assignments Scouts will be assigned to dens based on their program. Den sizes will vary from 8-12 Cub Scouts. Webelos will be in separate dens from Tigers, Wolves and Bears. When completing your registration, you can request being assigned in a den with a specific pack or individual. Non-paid participants are not permitted in camp. Only parents, leaders, den chiefs and Cub Scouts who fill out a Day Camp Medical & Information form may participate in camp program areas.
LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS An adult leader or parent must be provided for every 1-5 boys who attend camp! A den chief can also attend, but they do not replace the required adult leader. Adult leadership can be rotated from day to day. There is no fee for participating adults and den chiefs, but they will be required to register and complete and submit the Day Camp Annual Health History & Medical form. Cub Scout Day Camp Orientation - 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 15th, Heard Scout Pueblo All adults and den chiefs that will be participating are requested to be attend the day camp orientation. At minimum, one representative from your pack will need to attend. *Session 8 is a day time camp. All other sessions are twiglight sessions. ** Session 9 is designated both as a regular session and a COED camp. All youth must be Cub Scout age and be accompanied by parent or guardian at all times. The program is the same as offered during sessions 1-8. All youth attending the coed camp will need a completed Day Camp Annual Health History & Medical form and fees paid by the due date.
ITEMS TO BRING ONLY ATHLETIC OR HIKING SHOES ALLOWED! No Sandals, crocks, or half-shoes allowed for your safety! Bring Water Bottle or Canteen Be prepared for the heat. Drink lots of water and bring spray bottles. Spray bottles are also available for purchase at the camp trading post. Bring Sack Lunch Everyday Sandwiches must not have mayonnaise or be made with anything that might spoil. Each den is furnished two ice chests and one bag of ice to store lunches. Any and All Medicines Prescribed medications must be brought to the medical personnel at camp headquarters. Please place the medicine in a clear zip-lock bag labeled with your name. Include a note with instructions for use and dosage. The camp nurse cannot dispense any type pain killers such as aspirin, Tylenol, etc. Uniform, Bathing Suits, Sun Block and Towels The day camp uniform is the day camp tee shirt and headwear, your own swimming suit, and closed-toe shoes. Your Cub Scout day camp uniform is required to participate each day. No open-toed shoes or sandals are allowed. No cutoffs are allowed in the pool. Swimming suits should be worn underneath shorts (adults too) because there is not enough time to change. Trading Post Snacks, sodas, pirate loot and souvenirs will be available for purchase. We suggest each camper bring $5-10 per day for trading post items. Den Competition Awards will be presented for best den flag, best den site decorations, guessing game and early birds (on time). Bring materials to decorate your den area and flag (flag provided). Camperships Camperships are available for campers in need of assistance. Up to 75% of the fee may be sponsored. Transportation

Step 1:Submit your friend’s Cub Scout Application* to Grand Canyon Council. Step 2: Register him for Day Camp. Step 3: Bring a copy of your friend’s application to Day Camp and receive the special recruiter patch. *Parents please contact your local Pack for more information on their fees and dues. National’s annual registration fee and insurance is $16.20 and is pro-rated year-round. Also, all membership requirements must be met to be eligible for this special promotion.
