COMING SOON: Interface Enhancements to Member Management and Membership Management
We are improving the Member Management interface to make it easier to manage member profiles, permissions, roles, and groups. The new Member Management interface will use the same tabbed structure as Event Management, with the functions organized under logical headings. All of the member/constituent management features will operate the same way—they’ll just be easier to find.
The Membership Management interface will also be updated. Similar to events in Event Management, each membership type will have its own management page that provides at-a-glance information about financials and member totals, and offers easy access to important functions.
Look for more information about these upcoming changes in next week’s Friday News!
NEW: Administrators Can Enter New Reservations During Blackout Periods
The Facilities module now allows administrators to enter new reservations and bookings during facility blackout periods. As a result, you can create reservations for dates and times that aren’t available to the public. To enable this feature, follow these steps:
- In Event Management, click the Utilities tab.
- In the Organization menu, select the master organization.
- Click Event Configuration.
- In the Admin Override Facility Blackouts section, select Enable Admin Override of Facility Blackouts.
- Click Save.
When this feature is enabled, blackout periods will not apply to administrators. If the feature is not enabled, blackout periods will apply to administrators as well as visitors to your site.
NEW: Information About Renewal Reminders Included in Membership Reports
If you use the new automatic payment reminders for membership renewals, information about notifications is included in Membership Reports. The Last Notification Sent column contains the date that the last renewal notification was sent to the member. And, you can select Last Notification Sent in the Filter Field menu to apply search operators to the contents of the field.
