Friday's Doubleknot News - Vol 106
New Shopping Cart Rollout Planned for this Weekend
We are on track to rollout the new Shopping Cart interface this weekend. As previously noted, in the first phase of the rollout those organizations currently using the shopping cart will see the new interface. We plan on making this interface the standard ordering and payment process for all organizations in the coming months.
If you'd like more details, please go to the Training Video library for the recording of the Feb 26th webinar discussing these updates.
New My Account, Logout and Login Links
We are moving where the My Account (previously My Information) and Logout links appear as part of the planned changes this weekend. We are also adding the ability to Login in the upper right hand corner of every Doubleknot page. Once logged in, it will say "Welcome User's Name", with the Logout and My Account links next to it in the upper right hand corner.
The DK Links Button
Remember to take advantage of the DK Links button when you are in the rich text editor in Site Brander, Comm Center, Event Details, and several other places. This button will bring up a list of ALL other Doubleknot objects and features that can be linked to. Select any item from the system and the corresponding link will be placed in the text you highlight. Links are organized by the following categories:
- Doc Folders
- Activity or Event
- Site Brander
- Store Product
- Store Category
- Feature List
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Explained
We regularly receive calls regarding why registration form information does not show on email receipts. This is related to changes we made in 2010 based on PII or Personally Identifiable Information, which are state regulations regarding data collected and transmitted electronically, in order to protect everyone's confidentiality online. It is important to follow these laws and guidelines in order to limit your exposure.
On the other hand, if you are certain that your form does not contain ANY personally identifiable information, please email email@example.com and we can allow your form field data to show up on the receipt.
