50 Years since the inaugural 1965 summer camp at Henson Scout Reservation (then known as Nanticoke Scout Reservation) and it is time to celebrate! Please plan to join us with your family for an afternoon and evening of memories, camping then and camping now! Tours and activities begin at 2:00 pm with a memorial service in the Hershey Chapel at 4 pm followed by a campwide retreat and anniversary pig roast under the octagon pavilion on the activity field. A special anniversary program will then be held in the dining hall (also new since 1965!) ending by 8 pm. Guests and their families will be able to participate in many program areas during the afternoon so dress is camp casual!
As part of this registration, guests will receive the commemorative patch above and a tea glass with the 50th logo. Also visit our online store (coming soon) for exclusive offers on other commemorative specialty items available only online.
