Jurassic Adventures
September 21-23 at Camp Norse, 112 Parting Ways Road, Kingston, MA,
Webelos Woods is a camp out designed to introduce Webelos to the many outdoor adventures of Boy Scouting. This awesome weekend event includes patrol-method camping and Scout activities. On Saturday morning, Webelos Scout patrols will visit skill stations (first aid, fire building, camping skills, games, knots) where Boy Scout Troops will be teaching basic Boy Scout skills.
- The theme this year is Jurassic Adventures. You can look forward to a fun filled weekend of camping and theme filled events. Help turn Camp Norse into Jurassic Park
- Webelos Woods is the first chance for Webelos to camp with Boy Scouts!
- Webelos Scouts will camp as a patrol with a host Boy Scout Troop.
- Webelos Scouts will learn Scout skills from Boy Scouts while having fun with competitions and activities on Saturday.
- Webelos Scouts will experience the thrill of preparing meals and camping with your host Troop.
- Food will be provided by your host Troop for Saturday night’s supper.
- The Saturday night campfire will include skits and songs.
- Parents of Webelos Scouts will learn about transitioning to Boy Scouts and tips on what to look for in a Boy Scout troop.
- Webelos Scouts are encouraged to contact a partner troop.
Registration
The registration fee is $10 per person. Late registration is $12 and begins 9/14/18. Patches and program supplies are not guaranteed for late registration. There is no onsite registration.
