Sugar Pine Round-Up Family Camp

Fun for the whole family!

Flexible reservation dates.  Minimum stay is two nights.
Fee $86/person/night  for camp housing
Fee $76/person/night for own tent/tent camper
Children under 4 are free. 

Howdy Partners! Time to saddle up and hit the old west for an amazing western style family adventure in the Sierra Foothills. Join the fun when Sugar Pine becomes your very own family dude ranch! Come for a few days or spend the whole week.

Enjoy a variety of camp activities such as horseback riding, the adventure tower, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, horseshoes, gold panning, day hikes, boating at a nearby Alpine lake, games in the Great Hall, or just relax at pool side. Each day holds a special event for families, from our barn-raising hoedown and camp-wide talent night to the annual County Fair Extravaganza!

Use Sugar Pine as a base camp for your own family day excursions around Calaveras County.  Add some adventure with a trip to Moaning Caverns to experience a 1,500’ dual zip line, enjoy an afternoon of kayaking on beautiful Lake Alpine, or have fun on a visit to a nearby Old Western Mining town in Colombia State Park. (Additional fees may apply.) Enjoy special excursions led by camp staff too.  And of course, end the day with songs around the campfire, s’mores, and good times with friends and loved ones. It’s fun for the whole family. Yee Haw!

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a registration or a wait list spot, send an email or written notification to Registration or fax to (408) 287-8662. The deposit is non-refundable.

Nonrefundable deposits are not transferable to another program or camper. To receive a refund of the registration fees paid less the deposit, a notice of cancellation must be received four weeks prior to the first day of the camp session for which the cancellation is being made.

REFUND POLICY

Full refund: If your selected camp session(s) is full and no alternative can be found or if the financial aid amount requested is not fully granted, the total amount paid will be refunded.

Partial refund: The balance of the camp fee, less deposit, will be refunded only if:

  • 1. Family plans change and the camper can no longer attend. In this case, written notification must be received four weeks before the opening date of the confirmed camp session.
  • 2. The camper does not attend due to illness or injury. A letter from a physician must accompany the refund request.
  • 3. The camper is sent home from camp due to illness or injury occurring at camp. Refunds are prorated in such cases and will not be made if the camper attends more than half of the camp session and will be made only at the written request of the parent/guardian. No refunds will be made if the camper does not attend her camp session or leaves early for any other reason, even if her space is filled by another participant.

Make refund requests in writing no later than August 31, 2017 to the Girl Scouts of Northern California.
