Labor Day Family Vacation Camp at Camp Royaneh
Family Vacation Camp at Camp Royaneh offers numerous fun and exciting activities for people of all ages. Archery and BB gun are great for everybody and the rifle, shotgun, and black powder ranges offer a rousing challenge for older campers. You can enjoy the miles and miles of trails while riding one of our strings of Western saddle horses. Don’t forget to stop by the craft area where you can make something that will always remind you of the good times you had at Family Vacation Camp. Swimming is great in our Olympic size swimming pool.
The trading post will offer a variety of ice cream, candy and other snack items as well as Camp Royaneh merchandise.
Like most national, state, or private campgrounds, you will be sleeping in tents. You have the option to use camp tents or you can bring your own. ALL sites are assigned when you arrive at camp. Large groups of 50 or more wishing to camp together can be assigned a site in advance otherwise all accommodations are first come, first served upon arrival at camp. Hot showers and restrooms are nearby each of the campsites.
A great choice of two food plans is available. The first is bringing your own food to camp. Perishables may be stored in the camp refrigerators. All other food MUST be stored in your vehicles at night. The second choice is prepared meals in the camp dining hall. Eat like the Scouts do during summer camp. Varied and nutritious meals are available for a very reasonable fee. Meals begin with Saturday breakfast and end with Sunday dinner. Breakfast Monday is available for an additional fee for those on the meal plan and for those who are cooking their own food. Sunday evening there is an ice cream social - a tradition of many years at Family Camp - which is included in your fee for either food plan.
