Advanced Counselor in Training

Session 3 & 4 July 16 through July 27 and July 31 through August 6             Fee $950

For the second level of CIT training, focus on skills needed to work with children at camp. Learn behaviors to expect from campers and how to manage them, work as a team with staff and visit another camp’s CIT program. In addition to building your skills in working with other campers, you will learn more about the operations on camp. Spend time observing and assisting in Health & Wellness, Food Service, Program Areas, Maintenance and Admin operations. Adv WIT campers will focus their skills in working with campers in the horseback riding programs. Prerequisite: Successful completion of CIT 1 or its equivalent. This program requires an application and references before acceptance into the program.

Please note: ADV C.I.T.s will go home between sessions.

$950.00 per Participant
Cancellation Policy

To cancel a registration or a wait list spot, send an email or written notification to Registration or fax to (408) 287-8662. The deposit is non-refundable.

Nonrefundable deposits are not transferable to another program or camper. To receive a refund of the registration fees paid less the deposit, a notice of cancellation must be received four weeks prior to the first day of the camp session for which the cancellation is being made.

REFUND POLICY

Full refund: If your selected camp session(s) is full and no alternative can be found or if the financial aid amount requested is not fully granted, the total amount paid will be refunded.

Partial refund: The balance of the camp fee, less deposit, will be refunded only if:

  • 1. Family plans change and the camper can no longer attend. In this case, written notification must be received four weeks before the opening date of the confirmed camp session.
  • 2. The camper does not attend due to illness or injury. A letter from a physician must accompany the refund request.
  • 3. The camper is sent home from camp due to illness or injury occurring at camp. Refunds are prorated in such cases and will not be made if the camper attends more than half of the camp session and will be made only at the written request of the parent/guardian. No refunds will be made if the camper does not attend her camp session or leaves early for any other reason, even if her space is filled by another participant.

Make refund requests in writing no later than August 31, 2016 to the Girl Scouts of Northern California.
