Returning to the scenic adventures of the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, the 2017 BSA National Scout Jamboree will feature many exciting activities such as white-water rafting, rock climbing, mtn biking and marksmanship venues, along with the standard Jamboree fun of camping, hiking, patch trading, and spectacular stage shows!

The BSA National Scout Jamboree dates onsite at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia are Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 28, 2017 with potential earlier arrival if a pre-Jamboree tour is scheduled.

Registered adult Scout leaders who are interested in serving as troop leadership for our SFBAC Contingent are invited to apply.  Scoutmaster and Asst Scoutmaster positions will be chosen in early 2016 to be in place for Boy Scout interviews during the late spring.  Three adults over age 21, and one young adult 18-21, are needed for each troop.  (Number of troops available is undeteremined at this time).   Adult interest must be submitted by February 28, 2016.
