Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills is a hands-on training program to give adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the outdoors. Imagine having hands-on knowledge about setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking—all the skills necessary to see the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts of America come to life.

What to Bring: "Personal Camping Checklist" (see Scout Handbook (12th ed.), pg 292)

Boy Scout Handbook
The Scout Basic Essentials (see Handbook, pg 264)
Clothing appropriate for the season (warm-weather or cold-weather)
Personal Camping Gear
Sleeping Gear
Backpack w/ rain cover
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad T
Tent
Ground cloth
Eating Kit (spoon, plate, bowl, cup)
Cleanup Kit (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
