A training event for adults* involved in (or interested in learning about) providing leadership to Scouting in The District to carry out the operational mission of the council.

The purpose of the district is to work through chartered organizations and community groups to organize and support successful units.  District leaders mobilize resources to ensure the growth and success of Scouting units within the district’s territory.

The functions of the district:
     1. Unit Service
     2. Finance
     3. Program
     4. Membership

Sessions will focus on giving leaders the tools they need to be successful.   Additionally, experts will be available to provide solutions to the challenges faced in administering Scouting in the district as well answers to all your Scouting questions.

*Families are also invited!  A tent camping area has been reserved for families at Camp Independence.

Participants are encouraged to come for Saturday sessions and activities and are welcome to stay for the entire weekend to enjoy the camaraderie and fun of Scouting with friends and families.
