2013 Jamboree Contingent Youth Registration

Great Sauk Trail Council / Southwest Michigan Council

2013 Jamboree Council Contingent

The Great Sauk Trail Council Contingent is expected to consist of four troops consisting of 36 Scouts and 4 Adult Leaders; and possibly one or more Venture Crews consisting of 8-9 crew members and 1-2 Adult Leaders. All adult leaders will be interviewed and selected by the Council Jamboree Committee. After our contingent has been filled, a stand-by list of alternates will be maintained.

  QUALIFICATIONS:  

All Jamboree Scout Participants must:

                      Must have a current BSA membership with a Boy Scout Troop or Varsity Scout team.

                      Must be at least First Class Scouts.

                      Must be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the jamboree, or an 11 year old that has graduated the 6th grade, but has not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the jamboree.

                      Be approved by the unit leader and the local council.

                      Participate in a pre-jamboree training experience.

                      Have filed a Jamboree Personal Health & Medical record with the council jamboree committee before the pre-jamboree training and meet any height/weight or other medical requirements set forth by the Jamboree.

                      Submit all registration fees per the Great Sauk Trail Council payment schedule.

                      Be approved by the local council jamboree committee

 

Each Venturing Participant must:

                      Must have a current BSA membership with a Venturing Crew.

                      Must have graduated the 8th grade or be at least 14 years of age by the first day of the jamboree, but ahve not reached their 21st birthday by the last day of the jamboree.

                       Participate in a pre-jamboree training experience.

                      Have filed a Jamboree Personal Health & Medical record with the council jamboree committee before the pre-jamboree training and meet any height/weight or other medical requirements set forth by the Jamboree.

                      Submit all registration fees per the Great Sauk Trail Council payment schedule.

                      Be approved by the local council jamboree committee
