Summer Camp – a place away from home where a whole new world unfolds to a needy Scout…

Learning to respect nature. Developing a team spirit with other boys. Testing physical endurance and problem-solving skills. Taking responsibility to do camp chores. Learning new skills and earning merit badges.

 

This experience can have a lifetime impact on a young boy! New self-esteem leads to new self-confidence which in turn leads to pride of achievement. Attending Scout Camp is an experience that can change a boy’s life forever!

 

Yet so many disadvantaged youth cannot afford the cost of camp and are waiting to know if they have a chance at all. It costs about $300 a week – or $50 a day to provide a life-changing camp experience for one boy. That covers the expense of hearty meals, lodging, a host of craft supplies and sports activities and all staffing. To help give these kids a “camp scholarship” we depend on the concern and interest of friends like you.
