UPDATE: For the May 12th Cub-o-Ree, scouts now have the choice to camp EITHER Friday night May 11th or Saturday May 12th and participate in all of the fun on Saturday May 12th, through the evening campfire. No scout can camp on both nights, Cub-o-Ree registration includes one night. Friday night campers will have separate campsites, but will be in the activity dens with their Pack groups on Saturday.
Scouts who camp on Friday night should arrive after eating dinner Friday night and will be responsible for their own breakfast Saturday morning before the flag ceremony begins at 8:50 am. Participants will receive details about Friday night check-in and set-up times shortly.
When registering online, please indicate "Friday Camping" in the final comment field to register for Friday.
Please have a roster of all youth and adults attending ready before you start the registration process.
Cub-o-Ree Online Registration
The changes in Double Knot are creating some confusion and several families have made mistake in registering, which sometimes leads to overpayment, or mis-registering a participant. Please pass this information to your Pack families to help them complete the registration properly.
To Enter a Cub/Parent PAIR
-
Enter the scout’s name, then select his rank, specifying if you are registering either daytime only or camping overnight. This shows a charge of $45, which is the price of a “pair” because it includes that scout’s parent.
-
Then “add” the Parent to the registration.
-
Enter the parent’s name and select the “Parent” option to register. The “Parent” registration has no charge because the mom/dad is included in the cost of the scout’s registration. Do NOT select “Additional Parent” for the parent registered in a pair, since the “additional” parent has a $20 charge.
To Enter a Cub/Parent TRIO––2 scouts/1 parent OR 1 scout/2 parents
-
Enter the first scout’s name, then select his rank, specifying if you are registering either daytime only or camping overnight. This shows a charge of $45, which is the price of a “pair” and it includes the registration cost for that scout’s parent.
-
Then “add” the Parent to the registration. Enter the parent’s name and select the “Parent” option to register. The “Parent” registration has no charge since the first Parent is included in the cost of the first scout’s registration. Do NOT select “Additional Parent” for the first parent registered or you will be charged an additional $20.
-
After you register the first scout and Parent, you may add an “Additional” Scout (by rank) or an “Additional Parent” and the cost will be added to the total -- $65 for a Trio. For the second scout registered in a TRIO, be sure to select “Additional” scout (by rank), or you will be charged $45 for the second scout, instead of $20.
-
All Trios camping overnight are assumed to be one family, sharing one tent, unless you tell us otherwise. BUT no scout can share a tent with an adult that is not his parent/guardian/family. If you register a Trio to camp and one of the boys is NOT your son, make a note in the final “Comment” field that the Trio requires 2 tent spaces for a non-family scout. This way, the adult has 1 tent spot and the two boys will need to share a separate tent.
Additional Registrations & Other Information
-
If you are registering other scouts from your Pack, continue to “Add” additional participants in the same way as the first Pair or Trio.
-
If you are registering additional adults, please add them as “Additional Parent.” If you have additional adults who are not sharing a tent with other family members (such as a leader attending without his/her son), please note that in the Comment section so sufficient tents sites are reserved.
-
If your Pack leaders have agreed to be responsible for additional scouts “daytime only” without a parent or guardian, these scouts may be added as “Additional scouts — daytime only” but must be registered with a responsible adult. Packs/Dens must maintain 2-deep leadership for all boys not with the their parents. Packs should obtain the permission forms and emergency medical care releases as you do for Pack events. Please note in the Comments section that you will be responsible for a group of boys who will be picked up in the evening.
-
In the final “comment” section on the online registration, please also list ANY additional information we should know, including any dietary limitations or restrictions, food allergies, or medical issues. We will try to work with parents as best as possible, but we must know in advance.
-
Each online registration asks for a Pack contact. If you know your Pack is registering as a group, please try to list the appropriate Pack contact. However, even if you do not know who your Pack contact is, you will still be put with your son’s Pack.
