Plan now to participate in Wapiti's annual District Camporee on April 27 –29, 2012 at Cub World at Scouter's Mountain. Promote this tremendous event now! In addition to the traditional assortment of interpatrol scout competitions, an awesome campfire and OA Ceremony, and a chance to meet other scouts in our great district, the Camporee Staff will be brainstorming some new activities to continue the tradition of having the best Camporee in CPC!

Each year, over 300 scouts and scouters participate in our Camporee, led by our impressive Order of the Arrow staff that inspire great pride in the District. We also welcome Cub Scouts and Webelos to stop by and see what Scouting is all about (Webelos are welcome to camp under Cub Scouting guidelines, and need to be hosted by one of our district troops).

Cost per participant will be $13 per participant if registered by 4/22/11. This fee includes a Camporee patch and cost for using the park.

The Camporee Staff this year will again be comprised of members of our Wapiti OA Chapter. Any Order of the Arrow member interested in serving in a staff role must have Scoutmaster approval, and should plan on attending the monthly Wapiti Chapter meetings.  The cost for staffing this year has increased to $20.  This increase is planned so that we may provide a hat and shirt.  The shirt design will come from the OA chapter and will be used as a chapter-wide Class B Shirt throughout the year. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Great Wapiti District Camporee!
