Scouting Around the World
The Cub Scouting program comes to its' triumphant conclusion with Summer Camp. Scouts have taken part in many different Den and Pack activities all year long. Come Summer time, Day Camp ties the program year together and prepares your Cub Scout for their next year in Cub Scouting (or Boy Scouting).
The outdoor program is an essential part of Cub Scouting and Cub Scout Day Camp will fill that need. Cub Scout Day Camp provides your Scout with the adventure in the great outdoors, fellowship, independence, Cub Scout Advancement and an opportunity to have Fun with our out of this world theme: "Scouting Around the World"
There are several different week-long programs to choose from. Camps are geographically located throughout the Narragansett Council to make it convenient for Scouting Families.

All camps operate Monday through Friday. Camp is open rain or shine.
Cost of Attending Camp
Camp Fee:
$160 per Scout ($135 with "Good Scout Discount")
$25 Good Scout Discount if paid in full by 6/15/08
Camp fee includes one Day Camp T-Shirt (Youth who register after June 15, 2008 will receive Youth Large or Adult Medium), Day Camp Craft, Day Camp Patch and One Great Week of fun at an outstanding camping facility!
NEW FOR 2008! - Extended Hours Day Camp: This year we will be running extended hours day camp at all our camps. Extended hours will run from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Monday through Thursday. Now you won't have to leave work early to pick up your son! The fee for extended hours day camp is a flat rate of $25 for the entire week.
Extras such as Day Camp T-Shirts, patches and other items containing the Day Camp Logo can be ordered at time of registration. All extra items must be ordered by 6/1/07 to ensure delivery on the first day of camp.

Camp Staff
Day Camps are operated by Council volunteers and parents selected to be on Day Camp staff, as well as Council professional staff. Every staff member is trained to ensure your son will have a safe, fun and exciting week of camp. All staff members have completed the Boy Scouts of America?s Youth Protection Training.
Information on applying for camp is also available on the Day Camp website.
Registration
Day Camp registrations can be done by individuals or by the pack. You can register for camp, make payments, order T-shirts, and even apply for a staff position at camp! All of this with just a few clicks of the mouse. In order to register please make sure you have all your Scouts information ready, including what grade and rank he will be when he starts back to school in September, and what T-Shirt size your Scout will need. This information is very important to us in order to insure he is in the right den, and that he gets a shirt that fits properly
On the next screen enter the name of the person filling out the form. You will enter the youth?s information on the following screens. This is a secure connection and will time out if you leave the computer in the middle of the registration process. We recommend using Interner Explorer.
