The Fort Worth Zoo provides your young children the opportunity to have personal encounters with exotic wildlife as well as with the native wildlife they find in their own backyards. Zoo Edventure School is an immersive, hands-on environment where your children’s curiosity will inspire their learning.

Your Zoo Scholar will:

·        Experience an activity-packed, three-hour class.

·        Participate in unique and interactive animal activities.

·        Learn about Zoo animals, local North Texas animals and wildlife conservation.

·        Enjoy live animal presentations and field trips into the Zoo.

·        Develop social, language, artistic and cognitive skills.

·        Students enroll for the entire school year, 32 weeks.

·        Students must be 3, 4 or 5 years of age before 09/01/09.

·        Session dates are September 14, 2009 through May 20, 2010.

·        Each class is three hours in length and meets once a week, either in the morning or in the afternoon.

·        Classes are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.
