2012 Indian Springs Fall Camporee
When: September 14-15, 2012
Where: Fort Buenaventura, Ogden, Utah
Cost: $8.00 per participant (Leaders and Youth)
Equipment: Camping will be on grass, so plan on fuel stove and/or fire
barrels for your campfire. Bring own wood, tinder kits, and
group first aid equipment. Trash and ashes must be packed

Facility: Fort Buenaventura is a beautiful secluded but convienient
county facility located along the Weber River. It is the site of a
replica fort from the mountain Man Era.
Acivities: Campfire Activity (including skits and songs) on Friday Evening:
flag Ceremony on Saturday Morning.
The Fall Camporee will focus on the Pioneering Merit Badge.
Enterprising and well prepared patrols will be able to earn the
entire merit badge during the Camporee.
Fort Buenaventura, the perfect setting for this activity, was founded
in 1845 by Miles Goodyear and his wife and has been the site of
numerous mountain man rendzvous.
Activities Include: knots, ropes, splices, and building various
pioneering projects: towers,bridges, and camp furniture.
Registration: Online Registration is available.
On-Site Registration begins at 4:00pm on Friday September 14th.
All units must register upon arrival.
All payments (cash or check) is due at registration.
