D10 2012 District Spring Camporee

Where:       Deseret Peak Complex, Tooele, UT

When:        April 27 - 28
Who:          Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts

Cost:          $6 youth and adults ($1 late fee after April 23)
additional $8 for rocket kit & 2 engines (must register by April 2 to buy kit)*

Details:      We will be camping at the Deseret Peak Complex in Tooele.  If you choose to build a rocket you will need to supply paint or markers to decorate it. 

Special Guest Speaker Friday Night:  Astronaut and Senator Jake Garn 

Activities include:

                   Model rocket building (Friday night)

                   Rocket videos 

                   Demonstration by Model Rocket Club, UROC

                   Model airplane exposition (Saturday morning)

Directions: Take I-80 West from SLC, take exit 99 to Tooele. Now traveling on SR 36. Continue past Lake Point. Before Stansbury Park turn right at street light SR 138. Proceed to Sheeplane and turn left. The Complex is at the corner of  Sheeplane and SR 112.
