Summer camp participants holding a blue crabThe Smithsonian Environmental Research Center is located 7 miles south of Annapolis on 2,650 acres of wildlife preserve on the Chesapeake Bay. We offer a wide range of outdoor and hands-on camps for children in 1st-11th grade.  Campers will learn about nature and the environment through hands-on activities such as seining, arts and crafts, canoeing, using microscopes, and more!

Cancellation Policy: If registration is cancelled after the full payment is made on May 22nd, one-half of the balance of the camp will be refunded. If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior to the start of camp, there will be no refund.
