 Description:     Winter Fun-O-Ree
                             New Scout Patrol and Adult Leaders (11 Year-old Scouts)
         Where:     Camp Tracy Training Center - 2.5 miles up Millcreek Canyon
                             (3800 South 3900 East)

                          Cost: $5.00 per boy                             (Leaders and Parents do not have to pay) 

                   Late Fee:  After 01/14/2012 a late fee of $5.00 will apply.

This is a Winter Activity Day tailored for New Scouts to practice basic
Scouting Skills such as knots (timber hitch, clove hitch), lashings(round
Tripod, diagonal), Winter First Aid, cooking; maps&compass & snow
Race (snowshoe and Klondike Sledding).

Note: There will be no meals provided, although there will be food
           for the use
of the boys as they work on outdoor cooking.  
Boys participating in this outdoor activity will enjoy it more,
           if their
 Leader(s) have prepared them for the activities
           to gain a knowledge in 
the areas of compass & maps;
           backpacking; stoves; winter first aid; 
knots and lashings.

Equipment:  Patrol Flag & Cheer; Klondike Derby Sled;
                     Warm Clothing; 
All participating Scouts should also bring
                     a day backpack; a compass; 
personal First-aid Kit;
                     drinking water; snacks; and
                     A Great 
Desire to have fun!!

                    Please register "youth only" that are going to attend.
                    Provide First Name, Last Name, Phone #, email (optional)
                    You may register more than one participant per registration.

Cancellation Policy: Fee will be refunded in full if the event is canceled or if your registration is canceled prior to Jan. 21, 2012. There will be NO refunds for cancellations made after Jan. 20, 2012 or for no shows.
