Our definition of Character:
Character is a set of qualities or features that make up and distinguish an individual. Character is important because it defines who you are as an individual. Other words that describe character are: personality, individuality, and originality. What is your definition?

What it means to "take a pledge for character":
Pledging for Character means that you will strive daily to live a life that supports values such as respect, responsibility, honesty, trust, caring, fairness, perseverance, self - discipline, courage, and citizenship. These are the same character traits we strive to teach in the Learning for Life program. Our Pledge for Character is a call to all students we serve, their families, schools we serve in, as well as community organizations, businesses, nonprofit entities, educators, and public servants to take a Pledge for Character.
