Upcoming Training Courses

Below are listed all the upcoming Training events on the Boston Minuteman calendar.  You may be particularly interested in the one-day Venture Advisor  training coming up on March 27th - a perfect introduction to the whole Venture program.  Or, you may wish to prepare for your increasing role in your troop or pack by taking Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) on April 5-6 or by getting Wood Badge Trained starting the weekend of April 15th.  Register now!!  These opportunities will not likely come up again til next fall.

It's that time of year again - signup time for FOS!  The Family Friends of Scouting Campaign gives parents, relatives and friends of Scouts in your unit the opportunity to make a financial contribution to the Boston Minuteman Council, Boy Scouts of America. The Family FOS Campaign is a significant portion of the Council's annual budget and the funds raised are used to provide the best Scouting programs possible for our Scouts in the greater Boston area.

Units are asked to please schedule a FOS presentation during January, February, March or April. An ideal time is during a troop's first Court of Honor after the New Year, or at a Pack Meeting or the pack's Blue and Gold Banquet. These events are ideal for reaching the most families.

Presentations are easy and only last 10 minutes or less. To schedule an FOS presentation, please fill out the online form
