Camp Marriott

Camp Marriott is a Boy Scout resident camp on Lake Merriweather. At Camp Marriott, you will find program opportunities in outdoor skills, aquatics, environmental sciences, arts, crafts, and shooting sports, in addition to other specialties including the new Eagle's Eyrie area for Eagle-required Merit Badges. Scouts camp with their units and sleep in two person tents with cots. While at camp, scouts learn to cook and eat with their patrols. Heater Stack meals are offered as an option.

At Camp Marriott, scouts will have the opportunity to earn Merit Badges and participate in other programs taught and led by our highly trained program staff. For a complete program schedule and list of Merit Badge prerequisites, see our downloads section.

  • Mountainboarding has been added as part of Evening Program.
  • Water Sports now includes waterskiing and, new this year, wakeboarding.

  • New Scout Quest now offers more Merit Badge and skill session options for the scouts to choose from.
  • Weekly specials including Merit Badges, non-Merit Badges, and Adult Leader Training sessions not normally offered!

Older Scout Program
Camp Marriott's older scout program is a flexible compilation of advanced level programming and challenges designed to make the week fun and exciting for those older scouts returning to camp to help lead the troop. We offer programming specifically aimed at older scouts such as Water Sports, Small Boat Sailing, Search and Rescue, the Mile Swim, COPE and Climbing (COPE and Climbing are located at Camp Post), and Goshen's new ATV Program.

New Scout Quest (NSQ)
The New Scout Quest Program is primarily designed for the Scout who has recently registered and has not been introduced to the Tenderfoot through First Class advancement requirements yet. This program is designed to act as an introduction to Scouts and basic scout skills for those scouts. Topics include the Firem'n Chit, Totin' Chip, knots and lashings, map and compass work, five-mile hike, and native animals to name a few. Scouts also will earn up to three merit badges as part of the NSQ Program.
